Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award

The annual Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award Luncheon will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 12:00 (noon) at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel, 191 E. Pine Street in Orlando, Florida.

The highest national award of the Boy Scouts of America, the Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award, will be awarded to four (4) outstanding local community leaders for their demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for culturally and economically diverse youth.

The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award recipients are Allie L. Braswell, Jr.; Chief Cecil E. SmithLynda Wong and Retired Justice of the Florida Supreme Court, James Perry.

 LTG Gwendolyn Bingham, Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management of the United States Army will serve as the Keynote Speaker for the Luncheon on Friday, October 6, 2017.
