Rum and Reggae Fest

The Rum and Reggae Festival presented by Caribbean American Passport News Magazine will be held at the Apopka Amphitheater, Apopka, Fl on Saturday, November 13, 2022.

The 1st annual event is widely anticipated after being rescheduled due to weather concerns in summer, and, the festival seems to have found it's place as a November Caribbean Festival. It is slated as the place to be to fully experience the Caribbean’s rich rum heritage, music, food and culture.

Rum and Reggae brings together great Reggae Artists to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Caribbean Sunshine Bakery for a Day of Food, Music, and Culture.

Live Performances will be from Freddie McGregor, Ras Shiloh, Lt. Stitchie, Ricky Stereo, Tanto Metro and Devonte, Rash Shiloh, Shunti, Jah Tiff, Chino with live bands Code Red and Propaganjah.

Caribbean Sunshine Bakery and 15 honorees will take center stage to be honored for their contributions to the community. Caribbean Sunshine Bakery is celebrating their 30th anniversary and we are excited to honor their contributions not only to their field but to supporting and building the Caribbean Diaspora in Orlando. Caribbean Sunshine Bakery has been family owned and operated ever since opening in 1992. They started with one location and today have expanded to three, all of which are staying true to their core philosophy of creating quality products using quality ingredients.

Rum and Reggae promises to be a fun, daytime date festival experience set against the beautiful backdrop on the grounds of the amphitheater. Attend early for a full experience, the festival starts at 2pm, visit the vendors, enjoy samples at the Rum Zone, take photos at the Orlando Carnival photo zone, play dominoes or just browse the food vendors and enjoy the music in the background before the concert kicks off at 6pm with back to back reggae acts live on stage before ending at 10pm.
