The Pine Hills Community Council’s Hob Nob and Straw Poll was an incredible success, bringing together more than 500 attendees for an evening dedicated to civic engagement and community involvement. With 45 candidates under one roof, residents had a unique opportunity to meet those seeking public office, ask important questions, and learn more about the individuals hoping to represent them. The event created an atmosphere where meaningful conversations could take place, giving voters valuable insight before heading to the polls.

The evening featured an impressive lineup of candidates from every level of government. State Representatives, a Congressman, judicial candidates, School Board candidates, and many other elected officials and hopefuls were all in attendance, demonstrating their commitment to connecting directly with the community. Each race plays a vital role in shaping the future of Orange County, from education and public safety to infrastructure, economic development, and the quality of life for families throughout the region.
